Higher accuracy is achieved with the use of an external blackbody to calibrate the device. The thermal imaging equipment can be operated 24-hours a day on external power or for shorter durations with the rechargeable battery (included).

Recommended Process:
- Measure a point on the face, one person at at time, from 2 meters away to detect elevated skin temperature.
- Elevated skin temperature should be confirmed with secondary evaluation method (e.g., clinical-grade contact thermometer).
- Measurements should not be solely, or primarily, relied upon to diagnose or exclude a diagnosis of any health condition.
